Le Metier de Beaute Fiji Colour Core Moisture Stain Lipstick

Le Metier de Beaute Fiji Colour Core Moisture Stain Lipstick

Le Metier de Beaute Fiji Colour Core Moisture Stain Lipstick ($32.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a vibrant medium pink with subtle yellow undertones. It yields opaque color coverage with very little product. MAC Please Me is lighter, almost appears to have beige undertones in comparison. MAC Viva Glam Nicki is brighter. Revlon Carnation is darker. Rimmel Dizzy looks very similar. Lancome Pink Sapphire is a bit darker and warmer. MAC Chatterbox is more coral.

One of the things I’ve noticed with Le Metier de Beaute’s Colour Core range is that one out of three seem to have a smashed tip. I’m not sure what’s going on during production/quality control, but I have more than a few that have had this problem. I’m guessing that the lipstick is being overfilled so that when the cap is put on during manufacturing that it smashes the tip down. The tube itself is a rubberized black plastic tube, so there are no fingerprints to see and the tube is easily held.

This formula is supposed to be part lip stain, part moisturizer with full color coverage. It’s also described as long-wearing and won’t bleed or feather. I think what surprised me most about the product was that it was moisturizing, but the texture is not at all what one would associate with a hydrating formula–it almost felt a little dry. There’s no high-shine, slip, or anything like that, which are usually characteristics of formulas marketed as ultra hydrating. Instead, the texture is creamy, fairly lightweight Coach Factory Outlet Online, and glides on easily but doesn’t slip around. Fiji wore for five and a half hours when I tested it. It does last through some drinking (of coffee, because this sentence sounded all kinds of wrong without that clarification) as well.
